The Climate Justice Programme is directed by Peter Roderick and Roda Verheyen, under the auspices of Friends of the Earth International.
Peter Roderick is a UK-based barrister with twenty years’ experience in private practise, the oil industry, academia and the public interest environmental sector, and was Friends of the Earth’s lawyer in London from 1996.
Roda Verheyen is an environmental lawyer with many years’ experience in international environmental law and policy and climate change campaigning in Europe. She has written her Ph.D. on climate change damage in international law (Climate Change Damage and International Law: Prevention Duties and State Responsibility, Martinus Nijhoff Publishers, 2005) and now works in a law firm specialised in environmental law in Hamburg, Germany.
