The Climate Justice Program is pleased and grateful to have Expert Advisors who assist our work and help it meet the highest standards. Our Advisory Council is currently made up of the following esteemed international lawyers:

Peter Roderick is a UK-based barrister with over twenty years’ experience in private practise, the oil industry, academia and the public interest environmental sector, and was Friends of the Earth’s lawyer in London from 1996. Peter Roderick was previously a Director of the Climate Justice Programme.

Roda Verheyen is an environmental lawyer with many years’ experience in international environmental law and policy and climate change campaigning in Europe. She has written her Ph.D. on climate change damage in international law (Climate Change Damage and International Law: Prevention Duties and State Responsibility, Martinus Nijhoff Publishers, 2005) and now works in a law firm specialised in environmental law in Hamburg, Germany. Roda Verheyen was previously a Director of the Climate Justice Programme.
