Case against Shell, Chevron, Agip, and Total (29 September 2006)
In a gas flaring case brought by four individuals and communities against Shell, Chevron, Agip and Total, a judge in the Federal High Court of Nigeria in Port Harcourt in September 2006 declined to follow Justice Nwokorie's judgment in November 2005, and dismissed the action. This is being appealed.
