State of California sues automobile companies for climate change damage (20 September 2006)
A legal case was filed today by the State of California against 6 major car companies asking for "monetary compensation" for climate change damage.
The case has been brought by the State of California on behalf of the People of California against General Motors, Toyota, Ford, Honda, Chrysler and Nissan in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
